Hotel Bhimas near tirupathi station was iconic restaurant near station. Went there to have tiffin and to our surprise there is not coordination between steward and server. Serving was poor. Sad to see that landmark hotel from my university days in 70s which was famous for refreshments now unable to maintain.

Reputed old vegetarian hotel. Located centrally. Breakfast,lunch and dinner are tasty and they are maintaining same quality and standard for more than six- seven decades. Idli, Vada, Pongal or dosa and meals are tasty. Though visited several times, I feel restaurant should have more ventilation.

It is a quiet hotel well located in Tirupati. The staff are friendly and quick. The rooms especially the air conditioned rooms are better. The room service is very good if you want to have tea. It is a good place to rest and be with the family.

I usually stay there since last 10 years. But in the last 2 years, I noticed that this Hotel is not stay worthy, especially for families. I booked a triple sharing AC room by paying advance amount in advance. When I checked in, I found out that there are some changes in the hotel. Staff is new and their reception is poor. Room given, even after I stressed that it should be neat and clean, is very poor. It wore an old dungeon look. Old TV set with remote not working. Bed spread is dirty. Pillows wore a dirty look. AC is pretty old which does not have a remote. Fan is kept to assist AC. There was only one tubelight in the hall with no bed lamp. Toilet is even bad and dirty. We need to call them for getting it cleaned and had to spend time for all this. Finally we need to pay tip for the cleaner which the attender/receptionist named Raju shamelessly ask to pay. So, if one pays a visit there, you are expected to get the room cleaned. We need to ask them towel and mat for the toilet entrance. We need to call electrician to fix the TV. All these takes time and increased the check-in but when we checked out, they will not relent even a hour extension and we had cough up for 2 days. Raju and another lady are not forthcoming and treat the customers like any bus stand hotels do. This old hotel is not at all recommended for families.

FIND A DIFFERENT HOTEL IF YOU CAN BY ALL MEANS. The food is aweful to the core and the ambience is dirty. We saw insect crawling around food there. I would give negative stars if I can. The hotel is all hype with ZERO truth.
